Increased regulatory and reputational scrutiny makes it ever more important for market participants to know their counterparties. Internal compliance teams can cover most use cases but it is sometimes necessary to go a step beyond. \nThe speakers will set out how corporate intelligence techniques such as site visits\, discrete enquiries and open source intelligence can help commodity trading firms know their trading counterparties\, employees and suppliers better. \n \nYannick Poivey is a partner at Swiss Forensic & Compliance (SFC)\, a boutique provider of corporate intelligence services to the commodity trading and banking industries. Prior to founding SFC\, Yannick managed his own corporate intelligence boutique\, One Intelligence Sàrl\, for 8 years. He was previously employed with various international specialist consulting firms and has extensive experience in the field of corporate intelligence\, due diligence and external investigations. \n \nNicolas Leroux is a partner at Swiss Forensic & Compliance (SFC) He is also the CEO of Kalexius\, a sister company of SFC providing outsourced compliance services. A Swiss-qualified lawyer\, he initially practiced international law before turning to corporate intelligence and outsourced compliance services. Nicolas is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences on compliance and due diligence. \n
